Sitting alone at a corner of a room.. the thought that has been bothering me for months again fires me.. What is love? Some of the readers might think its total bullshit and waste of time, I am not here to convince them other way round, some might think they have had enough of it and know it quite well, I am not here to change their perception about it either. This is for those unsuccessful lovers who have always given love but never received it back and feel like the unfortunate losers in this field.
A thought came to me this one significant day of my life, an ordinary day that changed my opinion about love and about life.
Have you ever thought of being into an IIMs for your MBA or a Havard or Stanley for your MS or for that matter an IISc or IIT for your M.Tech!!! Sounds too cool na.. Wont you love being at one of these places.. Look at the books around you.. If you realize they are the only way for you to get at these places, wont you love falling in love with these books!! Have you ever seen a Microsoft or Oracle campus?? Wont you love to be there drawing fat salaries.. With end semester exams approaching, wont you love to be the topper of your class.. Have you ever seen a convocation ceremony?? What do you think it will hold for you when you leave this place.. Wont you love being the star of the day by getting an award of appreciation.. If your answer is no, forget it.. It anyways sounds too geekish and won’t apply for most of us here considering our interest in studies..
Take it this way.. Don’t you love hanging out with friends.. Don’t you love pulling legs of your friends.. Don’t you love making fool of your teachers.. Don’t you love giving missed calls in class.. Don’t you love long night rides and hot hot jalebi.. Don’t you love the ShankarNagar-ka-poha.. Don’t you love the tapri-ka-chai.. Don’t you love the power lunch at TDS.. Don’t you love to dress up for a change.. Don’t you love saying f*** off.. Don’t you love the extended in-times on mess offs.. Don’t you love the good non-mess food on these days.. Don’t you love the desserts that follow.. Don’t you love the treats from your friends where you don’t need to spend a penny.. Don’t you love to go to the disc with your friends where you do nothing but dance.. Don’t you love shopping, shopping and more of shopping.. Don’t you love gossiping around.. Don’t you love watching prison break.. Don’t you love playing CS.. Don’t you love to play your favourite sport.. Don’t you love to listen to your favourite song.. Don’t you love sleeping.. Don’t you love talking to your friends back home.. Don’t you love playing with the kids around you.. Don’t you love going home after a long gap.. Don’t you love the home food as a welcome change from the mess food.. Don’t you love you own room.. Don’t you love your wardrobe.. Don’t you love your bed.. Don’t you love your soft toy.. Or keep aside the materialistic world, don’t you love your parents.. Don’t you love fighting with your siblings.. Don’t you love discussing market with your dad.. Don’t you love trying a new recipe for your mom.. Don’t you love playing cards with your family..
Even if you love half the things mentioned above it should make you happy to realize that you are lucky enough to have a lot to love.. And if you don’t then I think it’s the right time for you to start trying these, they will really make you fall in love with them because they are simply lovely..
In any case you will realize there is a lot in life to love.. rather than sitting in a corner and thinking of the one love you couldn’t express love to..
